CADRE-India is a non-partisan, secular, voluntary organization working in partnership with the rural poor of India. Established in 1993. It is Registered as a Society under the Tamilnadu Society's Registration Act 27 of 1975. Registration number 126/93, Registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1961. FCRA No. - 075840038, 12-AA of the Income Tax Act 1961 and Tax Exemption under Section 80G5(vi) of Income Tax ct, and Registered under Section 52 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995. The organization was founded by a team of social workers committed for social changes with people's participation. They began working with a few tribal communities in Vilavancode Taluk of Kanyakumari, using literacy and health as an entry point. Today CADRE-India directly reaches nearly 50650200 people in TamilNadu, Kerala, Orissa and Uttar Pradesh. The core of CADRE-India target groups includes Adivasis (schedule tribe), Dalits (schedule caste) and other economically backward communities section in the poorer region of India.
